Nestled in the heart of the Copthorne countryside - just 6 minutes from Junction 10 of the M23.
Our pottery studio offers a serene environment for creativity with stunning views of the picturesque lake, it's the perfect backdrop for your pottery journey.

The studio is well equipped with 5 British made pottery wheels for you to try or take a lesson or two. The throwing room is situated overlooking the lake.
There's a large open plan hand building space and a wide selection of clays, tools and glazes.
Staff are always on hand to offer advice and support.
Choose from an open pottery session, classes, workshops or functions.
Once you have made your creation and you are happy with your finished result, you will weigh your piece and leave it for its 1st "bisque firing".
Clay is charged at just £1.50 per 100gm. Only your finished piece needs to be weighed and paid for. Only clay that is paid fo

If you want to come back to finish your piece it can be stored in a damp box for up to 6 weeks.
You can then book another open session to glaze your piece ready for its 2nd firing.
Its up to you when you choose to come back. There are no set dates or times like most other pottery studios.
Tamzin started pottery classes just after covid and has run her own pottery studio for over 3 years. Whilst Tamzin is not a qualified pottery teacher, she's keen to share her knowledge, tips, tricks and experience to help you along your pottery journey.
Sophie caught the pottery bug off her mother and after getting her 1st wheel for Christmas has improved in her pottery skills very quickly. Sophie is in charge of the social media side of the business as well as the day to day running of the studio.
Julia is the cabin owner.
She will often be seen riding her sit on mower or pushing a wheel barrow around. She's always very busy but please do say hello!
